WORKING WITH YOU

Our trained counsellors provide one-to-one help with problems that are causing emotional distress,
such as trauma, bereavement, poverty, abuse, identity crisis, and violence. Through face-to-face or
virtual sessions, they help you explore your thoughts to determine a plan for thinking and behaving
differently and support you in building the courage to make a change.

Group therapy

WORKING WITH GROUPS

In addition to one-on-one sessions, our counsellors can facilitate group therapy that can rebuild
alliances with people, such as family and friends, or be used as a forum to build a support network
among individuals with shared experiences. Through these sessions, our counsellor can encourage
positive coping skills among a group that mitigate the negative impact of current challenges.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN

Following an initial assessment with a parent, we can also provide children over 6 with one-to-one
sessions with a counsellor. They will listen to your child, discuss their thoughts and feelings, and
provide methods that help deal with these emotions. The counsellor will also determine if your child
needs further assistance in recovery.
