Safety Awareness Class
These classes help build and restore our ladies' self-confidence. Twenty-five survivors of gender-based violence are introduced to safety awareness and self-defense techniques.

Economic Empowerment Workshop
Bertha's Legacy works with partners to provide workshops for twenty survivors of gender-based violence to enable them to generate income.

We hold Safety Awareness classes monthly. Bertha's Legacy and Bertha's Place work together with partners to host a two-hour safety awareness event. Twenty-five survivors of gender-based violence and domestic abuse are introduced to safety awareness. The topics covered include:
